The Greenwood Partnership Alliance provides leadership, financial support, expertise and solutions to businesses planning to start-up or expand in the Lakelands area. The alliance’s goal is to lead Greenwood County to future success by helping bring great schools, job opportunities, culture, safety and much more to this booming community.

Recently, the Partnership Alliance helped create 125 new jobs and brought a $10 million investment to the county with the opening of the new Kohl’s department store. New developments like this one help maintain and push forward small town economies. Keeping citizens—and their money—in town by allowing more options for shopping and dining helps keep our local economy thriving.

CEO of the Greenwood Partnership Alliance, Mark Warner, was recognized in August by his peers at the Upstate Alliance as the 2012 Regional Economic Developer of the Year.
